Sustainable manufacturing is important to Croda and 50% of our manufacturing energy at Atlas Point comes from land fill gas. Our Atlas Point site is also home to the world’s first Bio Surfactant Plant.
Our Mill Hall site manufactures pharmaceutical excipients according to the EXCiPACT? Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Certification Standard and has EFfCI GMP.

There are two innovation centres within the country, one based at Edison with its main focus on personal care and pharmaceutical formulation development and The Griffin Centre, named after the founder of the HLB system, is located at our Atlas Point site. It is there that the development is done for our Performance Technologies and industrial chemical applications, as well as formulation aids for Agricultural markets.
